Referral Consultation

We begin by clarifying the reason for the referral, the questions that need to be addressed, the intended use of the report and the relevant timelines.

Information and Documentation

Relevant records, background information and referral documentation are identified and reviewed. Consent and confidentiality parameters are explained to the person being assessed.

Clinical Assessment

The individual participates in a structured clinical interview. Psychological measures, substance-use screening tools or other assessment methods may be included when appropriate.
